Position Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Shopify Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and optimize Shopify-based ecommerce sites, ensuring a smooth and high-performing user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, experience with Shopify’s Liquid templating language, headless architectures, and the ability to work closely with design and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Experience

At least 2 years experience working with Shopify.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement custom Shopify themes and apps, leveraging Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to convert mockups into responsive, custom Shopify themes.
• Create, modify, and optimize Shopify stores for performance, user experience, and SEO.
• Work with APIs and third-party apps to integrate solutions that enhance store functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, both front-end and back-end.
• Ensure site performance, security, and scalability by following best practices and conducting regular performance audits.
• Provide technical leadership and insights into potential improvements, trends, and opportunities in the Shopify ecosystem.
• Test and deploy features, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the project management and client teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on Shopify, including custom theme and app development.
• Expertise in Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.).
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, third-party integrations, and custom app development (Ruby, Node.js).
• Solid understanding of ecommerce best practices, including SEO, performance optimization, and CRO.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with headless Shopify development.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Experience with other ecommerce platforms (Magento, BigCommerce).
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
