You will be a core member of the leadership team reporting to the CEO. This is a partner-level role with a very competitive equity stake and executive package. You’ll have a stake in every strategic company decision. You will be responsible for building out global sales and customer success operations, and driving strategy and execution of DeepVu’s enterprise partnership/subscription revenue. You will be in charge of sourcing and closing key customer deals with manufacturers in multiple regions. The position is based in silicon valley, but clearly will require frequent travel, hence you could work out of Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Philly, or NYC or similar manufacturing hubs, and you don’t need to relocate. You have to have held a similar role at a director capacity or above at an enterprise/cloud software company with a SaaS revenue model, and have generated at least $15M in revenue in the past 3 years. You have to have direct SVP or C-level relationships at over 30 Fortune-1000 manufacturers, preferably at CPG, Apparel, Beauty, Food/Agro, Home Goods, Building Materials, or other consumer goods companies.
You need to be a hands on awesome thought leader who inspires and mentors colleagues and direct reports with clear thinking, market insight, customer understanding, problem solving, and top-notch enterprise deal making skills. You will be a team player in the C-suite and have the ability to build rapport with everyone in the company, and have a solid set of relationships with executives in the manufacturing industry. Over time, as we scale the business, you will build a team of enterprise sales reps and SDRs reporting to you.
The bottom line is that we think job descriptions are BS, and we’d rather excite you about your impact at our company. We expect you to deliver 3 Fortune500 customers within 9 months of joining and over $5M in ARR within 18–24 months. If that’s within your reach, we’d be excited to meet very soon. Undergraduate degree or minor in CS/EE/Math/Physics is preferred. The position carries a very significant equity stake, and is available to start immediately. Reference checks are required.
