There are three areas clients need to focus on when building a website: 1- Generating Credibility: If client websites does not feel like a safe place to do business or it's so outdated that people wonder if clients are still an ongoing concern then clients need to make a change quickly. 2- Delivering client Competitive Advantage: The way someone interacts with client websites has changed dramatically over the last year or two. If client websites does not quickly tell client visitor in a compelling way why they should work with clients instead of client competition then they will hit the back button and move on. 3- Driving client Call to Action: One of the biggest mistakes designers make is to miss the point of the website all together. They get caught up in creating a pretty picture that does little to guide client visitor to actually take the action clients want them to take. If client main goal is a phone call then what incentive's are clients providing client visitor to call? Same goes for filling out a form or making a purchase, these things cannot simply be left to chance.
