Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, client-obsessed Customer Success Account Manager to join our growing team. This is not a passive relationship maintenance role — it is a high-impact position at the intersection of operations, sales, and client strategy. You will be the client champion: the person who ensures every engagement delivers measurable value, earns long-term trust, and opens the door to expanded partnership.

You thrive in both the day-to-day details of delivery health and the big-picture conversations about business goals. You know how to turn strong execution into expanded engagements, and you understand that growing a customer base requires equal parts operational discipline and commercial instinct. You have a proven track record of retaining and growing enterprise accounts — and you bring that track record to every client you own.

Key Responsibilities

Client Ownership & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, owning the full client relationship from kickoff through renewal and growth.
  • Build deep trust with client stakeholders at every level — from day-to-day contacts to C-suite — through consistent communication, proactive outreach, and genuine understanding of their business.
  • Lead regular check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and executive steering committee calls that reinforce value delivered and set the agenda for future engagement.
  • Act as the voice of the client inside the agency — translating their goals, concerns, and priorities to internal delivery, strategy, and leadership teams.

Account Growth & Commercial Expansion

  • Drive account growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities organically — turning strong delivery into expanded scope, new workstreams, and long-term retainers.
  • Manage account P&L and financial forecasting, maintaining clear visibility into revenue, margin, and growth targets across your portfolio.
  • Partner with sales leadership on strategic account planning, renewals, and expansion pitches — bringing the client context that makes proposals land.
  • Present new service opportunities and strategic recommendations to clients in a way that connects directly to their goals and business outcomes.

Delivery Oversight & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain close visibility into project health across all active engagements — tracking risks, timelines, budgets, and quality before issues escalate.
  • Partner with internal delivery teams to resource accounts appropriately, surface blockers early, and ensure smooth execution from kickoff through launch.
  • Identify and proactively solve scope creep, stakeholder misalignment, and delivery risk — bringing solutions, not just problems.
  • Ensure all progress, decisions, and deliverables are consistently documented and visible to all relevant stakeholders. Nothing lives only in Slack or meetings.
  • Introduce process improvements — planning cadences, demo rhythms, documentation standards — to increase delivery velocity and client confidence.

Strategic Advisory & Value Realization

  • Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business model, competitive landscape, and strategic goals — and use that knowledge to guide decisions that improve outcomes.
  • Translate between technical and business contexts: communicate engineering constraints clearly to clients and ensure internal teams understand business priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Facilitate Growth Councils and strategic recommendation sessions that tie agency capabilities to specific client objectives.
  • Leave every client stronger than you found them — ensure knowledge transfer, documentation, and process improvements that enable their long-term success.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Client Services, or related roles, with a strong track record of retaining and growing enterprise or mid-market accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships with annual value of $1M+ — you know how to turn strong delivery into expanded engagement.
  • Prior experience in an agency, consulting, or professional services environment, with direct exposure to digital, technology, data, or cloud service delivery.
  • Proven commercial instinct: experience managing P&L, forecasting, and driving account expansion through upsell and cross-sell.
  • Strong operational mindset: ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements, surface risks early, and introduce structure where none exists.
  • Experience leading QBRs, executive presentations, and strategic client conversations with confidence and authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to engage both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders with equal fluency.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining high accountability and responsiveness.

Preferred

  • Experience in ecommerce, data/AI services, cloud platforms, or digital transformation consulting.
  • Familiarity with project management and CRM tools such as Jira, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Experience coaching or guiding delivery teams to operate with a client-first, consultative mindset.
  • Comfort with on-site or embedded client engagement at key relationship moments.

What We're Looking For

Beyond the resume, we are looking for someone who embodies a specific mindset:

  • A trusted advisor, not just a project tracker — someone who earns a seat at the strategic table by understanding the client's business deeply.
  • A farmer, not just a hunter — you see expansion opportunities in every successful delivery and know how to cultivate them naturally.
  • An unblocking operator — you surface problems early, bring solutions, and take ownership of getting work across the finish line.
  • A bridge builder — you connect technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring both sides feel heard and aligned.
  • A proactive communicator — you set the agenda, you follow up, you document, and you keep every stakeholder informed without being asked.
  • Someone who is genuinely invested in client success — not just satisfaction scores, but real business outcomes that create lasting partnerships.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote role with up to 20% travel expected for client visits, company meetings, and key relationship moments. Candidates must be based in the United States. Periodic on-site or embedded engagement with clients is an expectation of this role — you show up in person at the moments that matter.

UX Researcher, Data Analyst & Optimization Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a passionate, curious, and self-driven UX Researcher, Data Analyst & Optimization Specialist to sit at the foundation of our optimization practice — turning raw user behavior into rigorous, decision-ready insight.

This role reports directly to the UX Strategist and executes the analytical and research backbone of the optimization strategy they own. Where the Strategist sets direction and owns the client-facing narrative, this person owns the depth: the journey maps, the funnel builds, the cohort analyses, and the qualitative research that make every recommendation defensible.

The ideal candidate is a true quantitative expert with equally strong qualitative instincts — someone who can pull a statistically sound insight out of a GA4 funnel and also run a usability session that explains why the number looks the way it does. You have deep comprehension of Google Analytics and the Shopify ecosystem, and you use both to tell a story around user experience through a data-driven lens.

You will work cross-functionally alongside the UX Strategist, designers, and developers to properly tag events, track user flows, and evaluate site performance against defined KPIs — with a particular focus on journey mapping, funnel construction, LTV cohorting, and measuring the downstream impact of every UX change we ship.

Core Responsibilities

1. Journey Mapping & Funnel Analysis
• Build and maintain detailed journey maps and end-to-end conversion funnels (landing → PDP → cart → checkout →
purchase → retention)
• Understand and improve how users move through the funnel, diagnosing high abandonment and bounce points
• Draw qualitative insight about user experience from quantitative data, and vice versa
• Surface friction points and translate them into clear, testable opportunity areas for the Strategist's roadmap

2. Quantitative Data Analysis
• Conduct thorough data analysis in GA4 and Shopify to understand how users interact with and move through the site
• Build and maintain LTV cohort analyses to connect UX and onsite behavior to long-term customer value and retention
• Own data accuracy and integrity as a core competency — analyzing, validating, and pulling insight from the numbers
before anyone else touches them
• Apply sound statistical practice to ensure findings are reliable, not just directional

3. Qualitative & Mixed-Methods Research
• Plan and run qualitative research — usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and user interviews — to explain the “why” behind the data
• Apply UX best practices and heuristics to evaluate and improve user experience
• Blend qualitative and quantitative methods into a single, coherent read on user behavior
• Create artifacts such as user flows, wireflows, and journey maps to communicate findings internally and to clients

4. Event Tagging & Measurement Infrastructure
• Partner with developers to tag interactive elements of the site, ensuring data accuracy and full visibility into user
behavior
• Identify tracking gaps and help build out the event architecture that underpins the Strategist's measurement strategy
• Support GA4 funnel setup, custom event design, and ongoing tracking QA

5. A/B Testing & Impact Measurement
• Maintain a high-velocity, robust A/B testing program with clear strategic hypotheses tied to account goals and success
metrics
• Measure and report on the impact of tests and site changes on website performance, LTV, and retention
• Rigorously measure the downstream impact of shipped UX implementations, not just the initial test result — closing the
loop from hypothesis to long-term outcome

6. Reporting & Insight Communication
• Skillfully translate key findings into insights and recommendations that support the Strategist's client narrative
• Create effective, well-structured reports and dashboards that make complex data easy to act on
• Present findings and recommendations clearly, both in written reports and verbal presentation to stakeholders

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work alongside the UX Strategist, designers, and developers to move from insight to shipped improvement
• Operate comfortably across multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
• Support the Strategist's roadmap with research and analysis delivered on the cadence the account needs

Ideal Qualifications

Experience & Expertise
• 4–7 years of experience in e-commerce, UX research, or product/data analytics
• Expertise in Google Analytics, the Shopify ecosystem, and various A/B testing software platforms
• Understanding of quantitative data analysis, statistics, and data visualization

Research & Measurement Skills
• Strong grounding in journey mapping, funnel analysis, and LTV cohorting
• Understanding of best-practice experimentation design: proposing hypotheses and testing design iterations to learn about
users and site experience
• Knowledge of user-centered design process and design thinking strategies
• Comfort applying both quantitative and qualitative research methods to the same problem

Reporting & Communication
• Ability to create effective reports, present them clearly, and use tools that properly derive insight from user data
• Ability to create artifacts such as prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and wireflows to communicate ideas internally and externally

Collaboration
• Experience working across functional teams like development, design, and project management to deliver successful outcomes
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple clients
• Ability to work well within a reporting structure, translating a Strategist's direction into rigorous execution

What Success Looks Like in This Role
• Your journey maps and funnel analyses become the shared source of truth the Strategist builds the roadmap on
• Your LTV cohorting consistently connects UX changes to real, measurable business value
• Your research — quantitative and qualitative — explains not just what is happening, but why
• Your reporting is clear enough that stakeholders act on it without needing it translated further
• The Strategist trusts your analysis as the foundation for every recommendation they make

Why This Role Matters
At Anatta, insight is only as good as the rigor behind it.
The UX Researcher, Data Analyst & Optimization Specialist builds that rigor — mapping the journey, measuring the funnel,
and explaining the why behind the numbers — so the strategy built on top of it is never guesswork

The duties and responsibilities described here are not a comprehensive list and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. Anatta Design reserves the right to revise the job description as circumstances warrant.

UX Strategist, Optimization & Analytics

Overview

We are seeking a UX Strategist to take ownership of optimization strategy across a portfolio of eCommerce clients — leading
with data prowess, sharp analytical judgment, and the ability to turn performance data into a compelling story that drives
action.

This is a leadership role, not a support function. The UX Strategist owns the end-to-end optimization strategy for each account: the analytics and measurement foundation it's built on, the roadmap it produces, and the narrative that gets stakeholders to act. You set the direction; cross-functional teams execute against it.

You will operate at the intersection of analytics leadership, UX strategy, and business consulting — using platforms like GA4, Shopify, and testing tools not just to report on performance, but to build the measurement backbone that makes every insight defensible and every recommendation persuasive.

The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and a strong storyteller with data who can:

• Own optimization strategy end-to-end — from measurement design through roadmap to results
• Connect onsite behavior to business outcomes with rigor and clarity
• Lead experimentation programs tied to revenue, LTV, and retention
• Turn dense analytics into a performance narrative that moves clients and stakeholders to act

Core Responsibilities

1. Own Optimization Strategy & Data-Driven Opportunity Identification
• Take ownership of the optimization strategy for each account — setting direction, not just surfacing findings
• Analyze onsite performance data (GA4, Shopify, heatmaps, etc.) to identify friction points, drop-offs, and growth opportunities across the customer journey
• Connect user behavior to business KPIs (CVR, AOV, LTV, churn, retention, etc.) with demonstrated data process
• Synthesize large, messy datasets into sharp, decision-ready insight

2. Strategic Roadmap Leadership
• Lead the development of prioritized optimization roadmaps aligned with client business goals
• Evaluate opportunities using structured prioritization frameworks (impact, effort, confidence)
• Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic initiatives, and defend the trade-offs with data

3. Experimentation Leadership
• Own and lead A/B testing programs across multiple clients
• Define hypotheses rooted in data and behavioral insight
• Partner with design and development teams to execute experiments
• Analyze results with statistical rigor and lead the scaling of winning solutions across the experience

4. Analytics, Measurement Strategy & Performance Reporting
• Own the measurement strategy for each account: custom events, funnel tracking, and KPI architecture within GA4 and
Shopify
• Build and analyze end-to-end conversion funnels (landing → PDP → cart → checkout → purchase → retention)
• Identify tracking gaps and lead engineering/data partners through robust event instrumentation
• Build reporting and dashboards (GA4, Looker, etc.) that make performance and experiment impact instantly legible
• Own the performance narrative end-to-end — what happened, why it happened, and what to do next — turning
analytics into a story stakeholders act on

5. Client Strategy, Advisory & Performance Storytelling
• Serve as the strategic and analytical lead for clients, guiding optimization decisions with clarity and authority
• Present insights and performance narratives with compelling, business-focused storytelling that lands with senior
stakeholders
• Bridge data, UX, and business strategy into a single, coherent point of view

6. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
• Lead collaboration with UX designers, UI developers, and project managers to bring recommendations to life
• Ensure strategic intent survives design and development execution
• Drive alignment across teams and accounts, leading without relying on direct authority

7. Continuous Optimization & Performance Measurement
• Define and evolve KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to revenue, LTV, and retention
• Track performance of optimization initiatives and iterate based on results
• Establish scalable, repeatable measurement and reporting processes across accounts

Requirements

Experience & Expertise
